How to use proxy (OWASP ZAP) in security testing

May 31, 2018

This is a starter course for those jumping into the world of web application security. The OWASP Zed Attack Proxy (ZAP) is the product of an open source OWASP community project and it is used by everyone from those starting out in security, to QA testers, and to professional penetration testers alike. In this workshop you will start by learning the tool interface and understanding how ZAP works with the browser. Next, you will discover how to prepare your environment, and finally, how to identify and take advantage of vulnerabilities in demo application.
Makers with guide you through this process and no prior experience is necessary. All you need is a good will (and a laptop with installed Java environment and Mozilla Firefox browser)
